Aim — Trigger Control

Aim trainer — measure muzzle movement and fix your trigger control

Put a small sticker on your muzzle, prop up your iPhone, and Dry Fire Pro measures exactly how far the gun moves as you break the shot — then tells you whether you’re jerking, anticipating, or heeling, and how to fix it.

Speed is only half of shooting — the other half is keeping the muzzle still while you press. Aim measures that half. The front camera tracks a small marker on your muzzle and converts its movement into a real physical distance, so every dry-fire press produces a number instead of a guess.

Across a session, Aim reads the direction your reps drift and names the most likely fault — jerking the trigger, anticipating the shot, tightening your grip, too much or too little trigger finger, heeling. The measurement is free forever; the fix and the drill that trains it are part of Premium.

What you get with Aim — Trigger Control

Measured, not felt

A sticker on the muzzle and the front camera turn every press into a movement measurement — lower is better, progress is a trend.

Named faults

Consistent drift in one direction has a cause. Aim names it — with the share of recent reps that showed it as the evidence.

The fix

Every verdict comes with the correction and a drill that trains it, so a diagnosis turns into practice.

Estimated impact

See where that press would have landed on a target at your chosen distance — a tiny movement at the muzzle stops being abstract.

Muzzle Drift

A lifetime plot of every rep around the centre. A consistent pull shows up as a pattern, not a feeling.

Hands-free

Say “go” to start the next rep without touching the phone — the gun stays in your hands.

Private by design

No accounts, no logins, no trackers. Trigger detection runs entirely on your device — audio is processed locally and never uploaded. Your training history stays on your phone, and everything works offline.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to use Aim?

Your iPhone and a small round sticker — a plain white target paster with a red dot drawn in the middle works perfectly. A short guided setup walks you through making it, mounting it on the muzzle, and measuring it. No lasers, no accessories.

How does it measure movement?

The front camera tracks the marker on your muzzle during the firing window. Because the app knows the sticker’s real diameter, it converts on-screen movement into a physical distance — in millimetres or inches, your choice.

What faults can it detect?

Aim reads the direction your reps consistently drift and names the most likely cause: jerking the trigger, anticipating the shot, tightening your grip, too much or too little trigger finger, or heeling. When your reps are clean, it tells you that too.

Is the camera footage uploaded anywhere?

No. All tracking runs on your device in real time. Nothing is recorded, nothing is uploaded, and no account is required.

Is Aim free?

The measurement is free forever — every rep, the movement chart, and your session history. Premium unlocks the correction: the fix for your named fault, the drill that trains it, and the downrange impact projection.
